Who Are We, Really?

Who Are We, Really?

Communicating with people has always been difficult throughout the ages. But today it is much more difficult. We meet a lot of people during the day, and some of them are people we don't really want to meet. Where do we come together? In the family, at work, at school or in the apartment where we live. We can choose some, but not others, can not we? We want everyone to make choices like us, to think as we do. We want them to get angry about the things we get about, love the things we love. It’s everyone's wish but it’s so far from the reality.

No one has to think like us or make choices like us. We don't have to think like anyone else or make choices like anyone else. But we all have to be a good person at the end of the day. Instead of arguing with people about these differences between us, what if we tried to enrich ourselves with these differences? Everyone has strengths and weaknesses, but just because someone is not sensitive to what we are sensitive to does not mean that they are a bad person. For instance, yes, it is good for all members of a family to put things in their place during the day. But does everyone has to be as tidy as we are? The first thing some people do when they wake up in the morning is to write down what they are going to do in that day on their agenda. On the other hand, there are people who have never had an agenda in their lives. While some people cry for hours watching in a dramatic and romantic movie, someone does not even think of smiling at their own wedding.

Is it really so bad that people are different from each other or is it good for you? Have you ever thought about where these differences come from? And we think we know the people closest to us. Therefore you wish that your friends would change their behaviour. This is actually where we are most wrong.

We just need to think from the other side.

How do your friends describe you? If we asked your best friends or your parents, how would they describe you? Or if we asked those who prefer not to be friends with you, how would they describe you? Or skip all that. How would you describe yourself at all time?

Are you willing to answer these questions candidly?
