Weare Bound To Wrinkle One Day

What a beautiful song, "One day we will meet." It's a wish, a desire... What else does one want from life?

"May my wife always love me.", "May my children always be around me.", "May I always be the best in this industry.", "May my job always gain.", "My hair is so beautiful, may it always stay like this.", "May we always continue this holiday.", "May school end soon, there are many more years.". When we lose our loved ones, the song "Death is God's command, if it were not for this separation" plays in our ears.

Human beings want so many things. Most of all, we have wishes against time; our wishes that never end, our desires, and our dreams that will not come true no matter how much we want them.  As we say, is there such a thing as eternity? Always good, always happy, happy forever.

But does one live forever? Everyone says "No!" inside. Everything in life has a duration. Because time works in everything and everything is doomed to time, everything about human beings.

In fact, the time we coddle the most, sometimes we hold it responsible and sometimes we call it a band-aid. Our most precious treasure. Time is one of the most precious things we have, sometimes as if it has turned its back on us, sometimes as the cure for all wounds, sometimes as the cause of the white in our hair, but it is one of the most precious things we have. Why is it so precious? Is it because it never comes back? When we miss the concert of our favorite artist, when we can't turn an offer into an opportunity. Once it has passed, doesn't everything we can't turn back become very precious?  

The time train always goes forward. Because this is a single-use ticket. The train going in one direction. The train that will never go in the opposite direction, no matter how much we want it to. We will definitely get off at a stop, but we don't know which stop it is. We will get off this train one day and we will surely get old until that day. Because man is doomed to time. It is a reality independent of desires. Therefore, we're bound to wrinkle one day and approach the last station.

What matters is how much we know the value of time and how well we use it. How do we spend this single-use ticket to feel happy and accomplished? What can we do in this life that after we leave the station, our names will be mentioned in the stories of good deeds?

A life we live by making ourselves and others happy and progressing. When I not only grow but also grow and ripen, like a fruit. I add flavor to life. And if my "good things" are more than my "what ifs". Then, it is not a race against time, but travelling with time.  And if we know the value of the most precious, everything starts to gain value. Wishing to know the value of our time.
